Immortally Embraced is Angie Fox's follow up to Immortally Yours. If you have not read the first book, STOP now and pick up the first book.Dr. Petra Robichaud is back! This time we find her in the middle of a cease fire between the old God and the new Gods. An age old prophecy predicted Petra could end the war, and despite her reservations it turns out to have been true... for the most part.
Her lover and personal cheerleader, Galen of Delphi, helped her fulfill the prophecy and bring about the cease fire. However, Galen now feels it's too dangerous for him to hang around, so he's shipping off again and has no plans to return to her ever. Talk about being dumped hard.
So to occupy her time she is seeing any patients that need her skills. Including the recently knocked-up Medusa!
Petra is lamenting her lost relationship with Galen when she receives a blast from the past. And the hits just keep coming. Again, the world building here is just amazing. The new creatures introduced are phenomenal; humor and dram are non stop. Book 2 of the series does not disappoint and I can hardly wait for book 3. Keep `em coming Angie!

Fun read! Does have a lot of profanity & sex in it, so if that bothers you, this may not be the book for you. I like the characters & storyline. After the first book, I went back & bought the whole series!
This next installment of the Immortally Yours series was just great! It had all the right touches - love, laughter, suspense, action and surprise twists! Definitely kept me entertained. Looking forward to the next book.
I love this series and this edition didn't disappoint. The good doctor finds love again and helps to save mankind and help the immortals. Well written with unique, lovable characters.
What more could you want? A peaceable end to the war that they are involved in. The Old Army and the New Army battle with disregard for the mortals working for them. Can Petra help save the human race from certain death? A highly entertaining series.
loved this story! Held my interest from the very beginning!
I recommend that you read book one but you don't have too. It had been at least 2 years since I read book one and I was not lost at all.
This book has all kinds of action almost from the beginning of the story.
Will be getting to book 3 when I can
Second book of the Monster MASH series by Angie Fox. Love the humor. It's a unique story line and I am waiting to see what happens next in this war of the Gods.
Milder Spoilers Follow**** After really enjoying Immortally Yours, I found Immortal Embrace a little puzzleing. HEA in book one and now a new guy in book two? I found it difficult to warm up to this new relationship mostly because I didn't want to give up the first one (Galen). And I kept expecting Galen to show up at some inappropriate time, but he never did. By the end, I did care about this new relationship, but wow Angie - way to get me on both sides of the fence!
